      McDONOUGH Funeral services are planned this week for a Henry County Superior Court judges son and daughter-in-law killed Saturday as they crossed a busy Atlanta roadway.

      Police have charged driver Bryan Butler, 20, with vehicular homicide, hit and run and reckless driving. He is being held without bond in the Fulton County Jail pending a preliminary hearing.

      Butler is charged with causing the deaths of pedestrians William Turner Crumbley, 33, and his wife, Danya Ashley Wallace Crumbley, 31, both of Atlanta, as they crossed Memorial Drive.

      William Crumbley was a son of Henry Superior Court Judge Wade Crumbley and Fulton Magistrate Judge Sally Cobb Cannon. He was a graduate of Georgia State University and taught math at Redan High School in DeKalb County.

      Danya Crumbley was a daughter of Lynn A. Wallace of Peachtree City and Robert W. and Margaret Wallace of Shady Dale. She attended Georgia Southern University and was a longtime employee of Home Depot.
